Students from Macks Creek Middle School participated in the Camden County Library District short story holiday writing contest in January. Students entered their short stories about any holiday of their choosing with prizes being awarded for first, second, and third places. The top three students for each library branch won a gift card and automatically entered in the district level contest to compete against students throughout the county. The winners for the Macks Creek branch were Trinity Husong 1st place (Chris Cringle), Brionna Boggs 2nd place (A Covid Christmas), and Kamora Merchant 3rd place (A Dog’s First Christmas).
