The Macks Creek Softball team celebrated Senior Night following this evening's home game against Walnut Grove. The team recognized two very special Lady Pirate Softball players, Miss Lahnae Lewis and Miss Ashlee Klinksick. Both ladies have been faithful members of the team throughout their high school careers. We are grateful to the Lewis and Klinksick families for their support of these two hard-working athletes. Ashlee and Lahnae, we wish you both the very best in your future endeavours!
Lahnae is the daughter of Chris and Faith Lewis and the step-daughter of Amy Lewis. Lahnae’s high school activities include Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and high school choir for 4 years, cheer, softball and yearbook for three years, FBLA and All District Choir for 1 year. Lahnae’s favorite high school memory is when she and her grade won the lip sync battle which made them win the 2022 - 2023 homecoming Olympics. Lahnae’s favorite quote is “I am thankful for my struggle because, without it, I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength,” by Alex Elle. Lahnae wishes to go to college for Elementary Education to become a 1st or 2nd Grade Teacher.
Ashlee is the daughter of Tami and Dan Klinksick. Ashlee’s high school activities include Student Government for 1 year, FFA for 2 years, Student Council, NHS and Cheer for 3 years, Basketball, Softball and FBLA for 4 years. Ashlee’s most memorable high school moments for softball are the bus rides home, especially her sophomore year when Coach Hedrick gave her the nickname "Squirrel Brain". Ashlee’s favorite quote is “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Ashlee’s plans after graduating are to attend a college to pursue a degree in law.
