MCHS Career Fair

After such great feedback from students and business when we hosted our inaugural career fair last year, Macks Creek School decided to make this an annual event. Today’s 1st Annual Career Fair focused upon helping make connections between our students and local lake area business, post secondary education resources and more! The career fair hosted a number of local employers such as: ITW: Electronics Assembly Equipment, Walmart, Big Thunder Marine, Missouri Welding Institute, Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks, Margaritaville, Southwest Electric Coop, COMC, Captain Ron’s, and Lake Regional. Missouri State University, Drury, Missouri Western State University, Lake Career and Technical Center (LCTC), and Ozarks Technical College (Lebanon and Main Campus) were the college and technical schools that were present for the event. The Army, Coast Guard, and National Guard attended as well. Students from nearby Climax Spring High School also attend our fair. By increasing the number of student participants at the fair we are able to encourage more prospective employers to attend and grow the event. We are proud to make this an annual event that will continue to grow in size with the focus on helping our students explore career options to achieve life goals.
