Lady Pirates and Pirates at the KJEL All-Star Banquet

Juniors Brooklyn Duggan, India Willis, and Addison Ratliff were selected again for the KJEL All-Star team and Senior Jose Cortez joined them as well for the first time as a KJEL All-Star. KJEL has broadcasted basketball games from Springfield to St. James and from Versailles to West Plains for over twenty-five years. Larger schools typically dominate the field and of the twenty-two schools represented, Macks Creek was one of three 1A school honored. 

Brooklyn Duggan, India Willis, Addison Ratliff

India scored 549 points this season, averaging 19.6 points per game. In addition, she shot 74% from the free throw line where she was 154 for 207. She led the team in steals with 125 and pulled down 203 rebounds. She had six double-doubles and scored over 30-points 3 times during the season. 

Brooklyn Duggan scored 271 points this year averaging 10.7 points per game. She led the Lady Pirates with 145 assists and was second in steals with 88.

Addison Ratliff scored 444 points this year averaging 15.9 points per game. She led the Lady Pirates in 3-point makes with 85 3's with shooting 41% from the 3-point line. She also led the team in free throw percentage by shooting 79%.

Jose Cortez scored 493 points this year averaging 19 points per game. He led the Pirates in assists averaging 4.5 assists per game and led the Pirates in rebounds averaging 7.5 rebounds per game. He had a total three 30-point games, six double-doubles, and one triple-double.
