Megan Boothe sworn in as board member

Macks Creek School's newest board member, Mrs. Megan Boothe was sworn into office at the April Regular meeting of the Macks Creek Board of Education. Former Board Member, Mr. Ray Husong led her in the recitation of the oath of office. Mrs. Boothe shared the following:

Hello, my name is Megan Boothe. My husband is Michael and we have been married for almost 16 years. We have 3 children, Tate (14), Tucker (11) and Tynlee (9). I grew up here and graduated from Macks Creek R-V in 2006. Most of our family is here or very close by. I love the small town life and could not imagine being anywhere else.

Our kids keep us very busy with sports and other extra curricular actives, but in our spare time you will almost always find us outdoors. We love to be on the river, camping, four wheeling, fishing, and hunting. We often host and attend gatherings with our family and close friends.

My heart has always been in Macks Creek. I have loved being able to substitute within the district in many different roles over the last 4 years, which I will miss. But I am honored to now have the opportunity to serve on the board for the betterment of our students, staff and district as a whole.

Welcome to our School Board Mrs. Boothe. Our District is glad you have chosen to serve our amazing students!
