Kaelee takes 1st

Freshman Kaelee Keehler is the fastest high school girl in the PCL Conference and holds two titles to prove it. Congratulations Kaelee on becoming a Conference Champion last night! Coach Becky Salter shared "Kaelee has PR'd in every event, into which she was entered, the last two meets.  She just keeps getting better every day." Her fastest times this season were fast enough to best her competitors in the 100 and 200 meter dash at last night's PCL Conference meet at Skyline.

Each year at the Skyline Invitational, all nine PCL Schools enter and our athletes compete for conference honors. Each athlete who takes first in an event is dubbed, a "Conference Champ" in that event and earns 1st-Team All Conference honors. All those who take second, earn 2nd-Team All-Conference honors. With two gold medals, Kaelee is officially PCL 1st-Team All Conference.

Kaelee posted a 14.2 in the 100 and a 30.10 in the 200. Coach Salter is encouraged she is making so much progress as a Freshman. Coach is excited to see just how much faster she will get as she becomes more proficient out of the starting blocks and as she gets stronger throughout her high school career. Way to race Kaelee!
