Macks Creek R-V School District

On Saturday, October 4th, six FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) members, Jade, Maddie, Kaylee, Calvin, Matthew, and Kallie, participated in the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. The morning started with a ceremony to commend advocates and donors and share the progress that has been made in treating Alzheimer’s. Macks Creek music teacher, Melanie Biggers, performed the national anthem. Participants held up flower windmills during the walk to show their support and relationship to the cause. The Macks Creek students collected over $200 in donations prior to the walk, including 70 paper “flowers” that are hung in the school’s entrance. The Alzheimer’s Association is the official charity of FBLA and students will continue to raise donations to support the Greater Missouri Chapter and look forward to walking again next year. #Walk2EndAlz #ENDALZ
