Senior Macks Creek FBLA Officer, Maddie Moos attended the Missouri FBLA MOSAIC and District Officer Training that took place from June 2–3 at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson. Missouri is divided into 20 separate FBLA Districts each comprised of 15 - 20 schools. In February, Maddie was elected to serve as the District 11 President for the upcoming school year. Israel Husong, also an MC senior, was elected to serve as the District 11 Vice-President of FBLA Relations.
During the conference, local chapter advisors, state officers, and district presidents gathered to participate in this specialized summer leadership conference. Throughout the two-day schedule, attendees engaged in targeted workshops, keynotes, and strategic planning sessions. Our district's FBLA Advisor, Ms. Kristy Eidson focused on mastering chapter administration tools and competitive event strategies to bring back to our school. Meanwhile, the newly elected student officers received intensive leadership development and conducted required Executive Council meetings.
Macks Creek School is grateful for the leadership of Maddie and Israel as well as their willingness to serve in roles beyond our local chapter. It will be an exciting year for our chapter!
