Macks Creek High School Updates
Macks Creek college and career planning with seniors is off to a great start this school year. rootEd advisor, Mrs. Bothwell, has already met individually with all seniors to identify their interests and goals and begin developing postsecondary plans for life after graduation. Below are our seniors' current postsecondary plans for which they are working to prepare:
Senior Pathway Segmentation
4 - College Bound (2-year) | 8 - College Bound (4-year)
5 - Career Training | 8 - Direct to Workforce
Students are also gaining valuable opportunities to explore options through a variety of college and career exposure events. The district recently welcomed a representative from State Fair Community College to speak with students about healthcare careers and programs, with upcoming campus visits planned to SFCC and Westminster College. Students will also have the opportunity to connect virtually with Truman State University to learn more about the college and explore its academic programs.
