Macks Creek School is ready to start a brand new year with our amazing students! We will continue our goal of providing the best education possible through our work in District Continuous Improvement (DCI). Due to learning loss students experienced during past school closures, this effort has never been more important. Through DCI, our district is continuing an in-depth implementation and evaluation of our academic and behavioral practices leading to improved instruction and student learning. This year our teachers and administrators will engage in PD activities that focus on policy, process and instruction (all of which are research based and data driven). Our students will benefit not only from improved instruction, but also learning how to be more active participants in their own learning. We are striving to ensure students understand more about their own thinking and learning processes and how to best approach any given learning situation.
