Students Participating in Career Fair

October 24th, 2022

Macks Creek hosted their 1st Annual Career Fair today. This career fair focused on helping bring together community resources around Macks Creek and Camdenton. We were proud to open up this opportunity to explore a multitude of career options to our students this school year. The career fair hosted a number of local employers such as; Oak Star Bank, Walmart, Big Thunder Marine and Lake Regional Health System. We had the following colleges and technical schools attending; State Fair Community College, Central Methodist, Southwest Baptist, Lake Career and Technical Center, Ozarks Technical Community College and Capital Academy. We also had military recruiters from the Army and National Guard. As well as our Mid County Fire Department, Camden County Sheriff's Department and Missouri State Corrections. This is our first big Career Fair since Covid and we are so proud to start a new annual tradition that will only grow each year in size with the focus on helping our students explore career options to achieve their life goals.
