Local landowners met tonight at Macks Creek High School. A group of specialists, brought together by the Missouri Department of Conservation, presented the idea of forming a Prescribed Burn Association for our area. This association would provide equipment and training opportunities to form a Mobile Prescribed Burn Unit. The next meeting will be January 13, 6:30pm at Macks Creek High School. #MCPirates

The Macks Creek Music Department will be holding their annual Christmas Programs next week!
The Elementary will be performing next Tuesday, December 6, starting at 6:00 p.m. The theme for the event is "Christmas Movie Night". Students are encouraged to wear Christmas items such as Santa hats and reindeer antlers. Students are asked to be at the school in their classrooms by 5:30 p.m. so they can be in the gym just before the concert begins.
The Middle and High School Program will be on Thursday, December 8, starting at 6:00 p.m. Students that are participating need to be dressed nicely and in the music room by 5:30 p.m.
