Dear School Community,
Macks Creek School has received notification that two students have tested positive for COVID-19. At this juncture, we have completed contact tracing and notified all close contacts. Each time there is contact tracing connected to one of our students or staff members, some of them may be directed to quarantine at home. Individual students on quarantine will continue their education in accordance with our distance learning plan.
Our faculty and staff have been working diligently to implement our COVID-19 Reopening Plan every single day which includes thoroughly sanitizing our campus and school buses. Please note, attendance and other local health considerations are being closely monitored and could trigger a pivot to distance learning for segments or all of our district. We will continue to provide you with as much information as we are able.
Our priority is to keep students and staff safe, healthy, and in school as much as possible. As such, we continue to coordinate with the local health department updating and making adjustments as necessary. Thank you for all you are doing to partner with us during these difficult times.

The Lady Pirates are now playing their 3rd game of the Weaubleau Tournament. After a loss to Vienna this morning, the Lady Pirates are in a close game against the Montrose Lady Bluejays. The Weaubleau Softball Tournament has begun and the Lady Pirates are playing the Leeton Lady Bulldogs. Leeton, the home team, is ahead 3 - 0 in the top of the 3rd. Let's go Macks Creek! #MCPirates
The Macks Creek XC teams were in action this afternoon in Willard. The Lady Pirates all ran season bests! Molly Phillips finished with a time of 24:39, Adriana Mayer finished with a time of 25:31, and Chelsey Brown finished with a time of 33:57! Way to go Lady Pirates! The Pirates also ran some of their best times. Caleb Phillips finished with a time of 19:40, Grant English finished with a time of 21:38, Kyler Gabriel ran 21:39, and Oliver Sanchez finished with a time of 24:07. Great meet today! #MCPirates

Regardless, we are cooperating with the local health department to help with contact tracing, which has just begun.
