Reminder: Contact AD Jason Trusty or Dr. Kolwyck at the school to schedule your appointment for physicals. All necessary forms are in the following link: https://5il.co/im8m They are also available in the HS office. All athletes MUST have new insurance forms turned in prior to the first practice. Physicals are still for two years, but insurance forms are yearly requirements. Those are available in the HS office and can be found on the school's website: https://www.mcreek.k12.mo.us/ Click on 'Menu' on the upper right of the screen. Click on 'Documents'. Scroll down until you see the 'MSHSAA Insurance Form (Yearly)'. It can be printed off, filled out, and brought to the first day of practice. #MCPirates

MS Basketball camp is ON for today. Girls will go from 3:30 - 5:30 and the Boys will go from 5:30 - 7:30.

COMC consent, physical, and insurance forms will be available in the HS office until 3:00 p.m. today. The HS office will also be open from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, August 5, for those needing to pick up forms as well as the day of the physicals on Thursday. Pirates' Athletics Updates: HS Athletic Practices will begin on Monday, August 10. Practice times: Softball - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cross Country - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Baseball - 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. MS Athletic practices will begin on Monday, August 17. Practice times: MS Girls Basketball - 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. MS Boys Basketball - 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. MS Cheer - 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. MS Cross Country - 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Student-athletes must have a current physical on file (good for two years) and have current insurance information prior to being allowed to practice. COMC is offering free physicals to Macks Creek athletes on Thursday, August 6, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the lower gym at the school. Appointments do need to be scheduled. Good morning! Camden County officials have been working to program our new tornado siren. You may have noticed the siren sounding occassionally since about 10:30 AM. Officials shared this was part of the process to program devices used to sound the alarm in event of an actual tornado warning. Now that this process is complete, it should only sound for scheduled tests or actual warnings. Thank you for your patience during this process. #MCPirates

A brand new solar-powered tornado siren was installed on the northeast corner of our campus today. Macks Creek School is grateful to Southwest Fire Protection District and the Camden County Emergency Management Agency who worked to secure funding through SEMA to purchase and install this equipment. Thank you for making our school community a safer place to live and learn! #MCPirates
