HS athletic practices have begun for the Pirates and Lady Pirates. If you're still wanting to play there is still time to get out and join one of these groups.. All practice times listed are for the rest of the week. HS Softball will go from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. HS Cross Country will run from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. HS Baseball will go from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. and then a field work day on Saturday from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (weather permitting) #MCPirates

Fall high school athletics practices start on Monday, August 10. Middle school athletics will start on Monday, August 17. Baseball: 3:30 - 5:30 (all week) Cross Country: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Monday); 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday - Friday) Softball: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Monday); 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (Tuesday - Friday) Baseball and softball will practice at the fields out on Hwy. 73. All athletes coming out must have a current physical and insurance information to be able to practice. Forms for each can be picked up in the high school office on Monday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or through the attached links. Good afternoon Pirate family! The first day of school (August 24th) is quickly approaching and it is time for middle and high school students to schedule their beginning of the year appointment. Due to COVID-19 the high school will not host a traditional “Open House” or “Meet the Teacher Night” as in years past. This year the high school is scheduling appointments for students and parents to pick up first day paperwork, schedules, and locker assignments. During that time Mr. Knutter is available to discuss “all-things” schedules and transcripts. In order to effectively and efficiently work through the traditional Open House items, the days below are specifically assigned for each grade level to schedule a time to take care of beginning of the year items. Do you still need a sports physical, but forgot to make an appointment? We are in the HS and have walk-in openings from now until 3:00 pm before scheduled appointment fill up the rest of the day. Physicals are free and conducted by COMC. #MCPirates

All necessary forms are in the following link: https://5il.co/im8m They are also available in the HS office. All athletes MUST have new insurance forms turned in prior to the first practice. Physicals are still for two years, but insurance forms are yearly requirements. Those are available in the HS office and can be found on the school's website: https://www.mcreek.k12.mo.us/ Click on 'Menu' on the upper right of the screen. Click on 'Documents'. Scroll down until you see the 'MSHSAA Insurance Form (Yearly)'. It can be printed off, filled out, and brought to the first day of practice. #MCPirates

MS Basketball camp is ON for today. Girls will go from 3:30 - 5:30 and the Boys will go from 5:30 - 7:30.

COMC consent, physical, and insurance forms will be available in the HS office until 3:00 p.m. today. COMC is offering free physicals to Macks Creek athletes on Thursday, August 6, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the lower gym at the school. Appointments do need to be scheduled. Good morning! Camden County officials have been working to program our new tornado siren. You may have noticed the siren sounding occassionally since about 10:30 AM. Officials shared this was part of the process to program devices used to sound the alarm in event of an actual tornado warning. Now that this process is complete, it should only sound for scheduled tests or actual warnings. Thank you for your patience during this process. #MCPirates
