The Pirates ran at the Vienna Invitational this evening. Caleb Phillips finished 5th (18:40), Kyler Gabriel 19th (20:33), Grant English 22nd (20:48), Jose Cortez 24th (20:57) and Austin Brown 37th (22:53). Great job in tough conditions Pirates! The team will be in action again on Thursday in a race at Ft. Leonard Wood. #MCPirates
The Lady Pirates XC team ran this afternoon at the cold and wet Vienna Invitational. Molly Phillips finished 4th (23:02), Adriana Mayer 7th (23:25), Alyssa Gabriel (27:19) and Chelsea Brown (32:51). Great job running in difficult conditions today Lady Pirates! #MCPirates

Macks Creek faired well at today's meet in Humansville. In team standings, the Lady Pirates finished 2nd in the PCL and the Pirates took 3rd. In Conference meet, Caleb Phillips ran a personal best of 18:26 and finished 1st earning the title of PCL Conference Champion! Congratulations Caleb! Grant English, who also ran a PR today (20:02) finished 25th, Kyler Gabriel (20:03) 27th, Aydin Long (25:02) 55th, and Austin Brown (25:10) 56th. On the ladies side in the conference, Molly Phillips (23:50) finished 3rd, Adriana Mayer (24:26) 7th, and Taylor Rich (27:13) 8th. Congratulations to all 3 Lady XC athletes who earned All-Conference today. Alyssa Gabriel (28:28) finished 15th and Chelsea Brown (31:29) was 21st in the PCL. In Humansville Invitational the Pirates finished as follows: Caleb - 2nd, Grant - 30th, Kyler 32nd, Aydin - 67th, and Austin - 68th. The Ladies finished as follows: Molly - 8th, Adriana - 13th, Taylor- 24th, Alyssa - 30th and Chelsea 36th. On the junior high side, Paxten Breshears ran a time of 16:15.
