After tying the score at eight in the sixth, Macks Creek's Brooklyn Downing laced a two-out, inside-the-park homerun to center to put the the Lady Pirates ahead in the top of the seventh. Weaubleau threatens in the bottom of the inning, but a double-play and a groundout to the pitcher gives the Lady Pirates a 10-8 win! Awesome game, ladies!! #MCPirates

Addison Ratliff and Caleb Phillips both ran well at yesterday's Dixon Invitational. This hilly course, with many twists and turns, is fun and challenging. Addie took 8th place with a 24:04 and Caleb took 2nd with an 18:06. Our XC athletes will compete at the PCL Conference meet this Saturday morning in Humansville. The boys race begins at 9:30 followed by the ladies at 10:00. Good luck at Conference XC athletes! #MCPirates
