COMC will be conducting Health Physicals for the 2023-2024 school year in regards to activity and athletic seasons on May 11th here at Macks Creek Schools, free of charge. These will be conducted starting at 8:30 AM and run until 4:00 PM on May 11th. These will be available for any students going into 6th Grade and any grade above that. The location at the school will be determined as we get closer to May 11th. The form that needs to be turned into the school has changed to keep on file. The only form needed will be the last sheet on the physical for school records. The other sheets will stay with the physician in their health records file. The form can be accessed through the schools website under documents that is labeled 23-24 MSHSAA Physical Form or at the following web address. If you have any questions, please contact the High School Office and ask to speak with Coach Hedrick.

Congratulations to all our Middle School Track Athletes who competed at today's MS Track & Field Championships in Bolivar! Eli Charlton took 8th in the shotput. Our seniors are nearly home! The group spent today traveling. They made a quick stop to stretch in Memphis where they checked out the Bass Pro Pyramid. Thank you to everyone who supported our seniors and made this year's trip possible! Our district is proud of our seniors and grateful to our school community! Macks Creek School 4th-grade students and student helpers enjoyed a "Farfetched" scavenger hunt earlier today. The hunt was based on a book of the same name students recently finished reading. In addition to opportunites to apply critical thinking and deduction skills, the students had a blast! #MCPirates
The home baseball game scheduled for this evening against Halfway has been canceled. The last two home games next week at home against Climax and Iberia will be played as scheduled. #MCPirates
The baseball game that was postponed from March 23rd against Wheatland has been rescheduled to be played on May 5th at Wheatland with a 5:30 PM start time. #MCPirates
The Macks Creek HS Track team finished today's meet strong. In the 400m Dash, Jose Cortez ran 59.2.
Neveah Dorrell ran 1:22 and Jade Stasiack ran 1:18. Jose finished the 300m hurdles in 48.3. Caleb Phillips took 2nd in the 800 with a 2:04. In the 200m dash, Brooklyn Duggan ran 30.6 and Neveah, 34.5. In the 3200, Caleb took 1st with a 10:54 and Addison Ratliff took 3rd with a 13:54. The Lady Pirate 4x400 team of Brooklyn, Nevaeh, Jade and Addison took 6th with a 5:07. Our six HS track athletes will spend next week preparing for districts which will be held at SBU in Bolivar. A great finish to the regular season team! #MCPirates
