Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.
If you're having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day. You can send a note with specific changes.

Macks Creek Middle School student-athletes, Vinncent and Johnny Vasquez competed in the 2022 Middle School Cross Country Championships this morning. The event, which featured 70 teams, was hosted by Hermitage High School at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland. Coach Dority reports the challenging course put runners on hilly terrain before turning onto the speedway in front of the grand stands. Johnny placed 28th with a time of 13:22 and Vinncent finished further back in the pack with a time of 17:10. Great job boys - way to represent the Pirates at today's Championships! #MCPirates

The MC XC Team raced well today at the Waynesville Invitational. Addie Ratliff ran 15:08 and Brionna Boggs, 25:22. Good running Lady Pirates! Caleb Phillips ran finished with an 11:12, Vaughn Vazquez, 12:57 and Sean Green, 17:53. Good job Pirates! The team will be back in action at Districts on October 29th in Fulton. The Pirates XC team has traveled to Ft. Leonard Wood's beautiful Piney Creek Golf Course for the last meet of the regular season. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and great weather team. Girls' Varsity will race at 2:00 followed by the boys. Good luck runners! #MCPirates

Four XC athletes raced in the Vienna Autumn Classic today. In girls' Varsity, Addie Ratliff took 7th place and Brionna Boggs took 48th. In Boys' Varsity, Caleb Phillips took 3rd and Vaughn Vasquez took 20th. Great racing Lady Pirates and Pirates! #MCPirates
Macks Creek FFA members worked hard today serving our school community and raising funds for their trip to the National Convention in Indianapolis. Thank you FFA members and generous donors who bid on these students at Saturday's labor auction! #MCPirates
Tonight's FFA Dinner and Labor Auction was a tremendous success. The FFA wishes to thank all the hungry families, generous bidders and everyone who helped. The event raised $1,189 - funds which will support the Chapter's trip to the National Convention in Indianapolis later this month. Macks Creek School is fortunate to have a hard working FFA who are willing to pitch-in and help around our school-community. #MCPirates
The Macks Creek FFA will host a Labor Auction and Spaghetti Dinner this evening at 6:30 p.m. in the MCHS cafeteria. Each FFA member is donating 6 hours of labor. The work day is scheduled for Monday, Oct.17, with a rain date of Monday, Oct. 31. If a student is unavailable at these times, hours may be agreed upon by both the student and the winning bidder.
