Tonight STUCO is hosting a 'Paint it Pink' night at the MS basketball games in order to raise money for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure foundation. They are asking for community support by wearing pink to the games to support your Pirates and Lady Pirates. They will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle and baked good silent auction with all proceeds going to the foundation.
Thursday, STUCO asks that students wear pink to school for another Paint it Pink event happening at our home HS baseball and softball games. They will be hosting a 50/50 raffle at each of the games and ask for community support too by wearing pink. Again, all proceeds will go to the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure foundation.
Some additional things going on during the school week to raise funds for the foundation are a hat week, where students pay $1.00 per day to wear a hat, and STUCO will also be selling sugar cookies for $1.00 on Thursday during breakfast and lunch.
