Our lone Lady Pirate wrestler, Kamora Merchant, was back in action in the Lady Mustang Christmas Clash today, this time for Champioship Bracket play.
Kamora started the day out strong with an early pin against a girl from Southeast Polk County HS in Iowa. In her 2nd match, she won 10-9 over a wrestler from Blair Oaks. During her semi-final match, Kamora got caught in the 2nd period and pinned. She ended up finishing the day in 4th place in the 135-pound bracket.

Macks Creek Pirate wrestlers took to the mats in Sedalia on Friday and Saturday in the annual Battle of the Katy Trail. Freshmen John Bicknell, Bentley Campbell, and Weston Martineau all fought hard as a team.
On Friday, Weston picked up his first two wins of the season. John and Bentley fought hard and wrestled tough but came up just short of a win. In Saturday's competition, Bentley battled hard but didn't place

Macks Creek Lady Pirate Wrestler Kamora Merchant traveled to Eldon Friday to compete in the Christmas Clash women's tournament. During pool play today, Kamora dominated her pool with 2 pins. The first came against Cassville in 45 seconds. The second pin came against Kickapoo at the 1 minute mark of the first period.
Kamora will continue in the tournament tomorrow in the placement bracket. She hopes to take her momentum from today and continue to dominate. Offixial start time for Wrestling tomorrow is around 9:00 a.m. at Eldon High School. #MCPirates

The Macks Creek Cheer Program hosted their annual PreK-6 cheer camp this week. During halftime of the girls' game, the crowd was led by the campers in many school-spirited cheers. Thank you to all our young cheerleaders for coming and helping out our HS squad this evening! #MCPirates
