Macks Creek 5th and 6th grade students took their field trip to Fantastic Caverns today. Students enjoyed a jeep-pulled tram with a guided tour, learning the history of the cavern's discovery and how the natural formations were made. Following the tour, students went to a nearby park to run off some energy before returning back to the school. #MCPirates

HS/MS Field Day is tomorrow afternoon! Chromebooks and all related materials are required to be turned in prior to going. Students will be participating in water activities at the Macks Creek Park. Swim attire must fall within dress code. Students may bring outside game items (football, wiffle ball, basketball, etc.) with them as well. They will be brought to the park by bus at 12:15 and return to school at 2:45. #MCPirates

Tonight's scheduled baseball game @ Laquey has been postponed until Wednesday @ 4:30. The next game for the Pirates is tomorrow night at home vs Dadeville @ 5:00 at BPN.

The Macks Creek High School Track team competed in the Class 1 District 6 meet in Appleton City today. Runners, throwers, and jumpers alike all competed to finish in the top four to move onto Sectionals. The Pirates and Lady Pirates have five who qualified: Kloe Hoback (100M Hurdles: 3rd Place and 300M Hurdles: 2nd Place) Carter Ferrell (1600M: 3rd Place and 3200M: 1st Place) Bailey Tindall, Kloe Hoback, Stella Lappat, and Izzy Willey (4x200M Relay: 2nd Place) These runners will compete in Sectionals next Saturday (5/16) at Nixa High School for a chance to move on to State. Congratulations! #MCPirates

Macks Creek Seniors were honored this evening at an awards ceremony. Students were recognized for both academics and by local agencies with scholarships. Macks Creek is thankful for these groups who help to provide help for our students and their postsecondary endeavors. The evening ended with a Baccalaureate message from their high school principal. Our Seniors are now one step away from completing their high school careers. Next stop: Graduation! #MCPirates
