The MC Girls & Boys Cross Country teams are raising funds for the upcoming fall season. Both teams are hard at work this summer completing early morning workouts to beat the heat. In the past our athletes have competed individually. With so many athletes taking advantage of summer training, Coach Ratliff is optimistic both the Lady Pirates and Pirates have the numbers to race as teams this year! Please consider picking a day and a corresponding amount on the fundraising calendar. If you don’t know a runner and want to donate, please email rratliff@mackscreekpirates.org. Thank you for your support of our outstanding XC athletes! #MCPirates

Our agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor, Ms. Hanna Norman shared a report from the Central District FFA Fair which began yesterday and wrapped up today. The fair "showcased a wide range of agricultural exhibits, giving FFA members the opportunity to present their hard work and skills. Macks Creek FFA member Grace Deckard brought hay and canned food items she personally prepared. She earned a gold placing for both her hay and her canned beets, she will be exhibiting these items at the state fair as well. The fair featured a variety of agricultural displays, including livestock, meat products, vegetables, and crops, highlighting the diverse talents of participating members." Well done and congratulations Grace! #MCPirates

As reported by the National Road Safety Foundation, "AAA studies indicate a sharp increase in fatal crashes with teen drivers behind the wheel.
