Despite the heat, the Pirates persevered and ran well at this morning's Smith-Cotton Invitational in Sedalia to take 7th place overall. Carter Ferrell led the Pirates finishing 13th, followed by Karsyn Jensen (33rd), Sebastian Sanchez (40th), Parker Christian (45th), Fisher Wiethop (48th) and Michael Egan (57th). The Pirates are looking foward to racing in much cooler temperatures at next Saturday's XC Dam Invite at Outlet Park at Lake Pomme de Terre. Way to race team! #MCPirates
