Today five of our first year agriculture students attended the District Greenhand Motivational Conference at Lincoln University. This event was hosted by the state officer team. The goal of the conference was to encourage students to consider the opportunities in FFA and make connections. Additionally, Morgan Buck assisted in the conference as an area officer.

Homecoming is Friday, January 29th, and this year’s theme is “The Best in the World.”
Celebrate the excitement and commemorate this year’s Homecoming with your very own T-shirt! The
design will be solid white on a black t-shirt for only $15! Order forms are being sent home with students or you can contact Ms. Eidson at keidson@mackscreekpirates.org.

Our school has arranged for Big Smiles to provide dental care for students right here at school on February 23rd. Best of all, there may be no cost to you if your child is covered by Medicaid, CHIP, or is uninsured.
Your child was sent home with a form today. To participate, please complete and sign the permission form and return it to the school with your child, or fill it out online at www.myschooldentist.com. If your child did not bring a form home and you need a new one, please contact Nurse Rachel.
All forms must be completed and returned no later than February 17.
