The Macks Creek Cross Country team raced well at the Dixon Invitational yesterday. Two Lady Pirates garnered medals - Addison Ratliff took 6th and Jade Stasiak took 19th. Vaughn Vasquez captured a medal for the Pirates with a 14th place finish. Parker Christian earned a PR of 22:44 which was very impressive as the course has a lot of hills. Bailey Allan, Chase Christian and Sean Green all did well on the challenging course. Great job everyone! The team will race again this Saturday at the PCL Conference meet in Humansville. #MCPirates

A few Macks Creek seniors took advantage of an opportunity to tour Ozarks Technical College's Lebanon campus. The group visited with professors and students about various training programs. This campus offers Associate’s Degrees in Teacher Education, Business and Marketing, Early Childhood Development, Electrical Distribution Systems, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning as well as Practical Nursing. #MCPirates



The Lady Pirates XC Team continues to make great strides this season! At yesterday's Buffalo Invitational, senior Addie Ratliff (24:15) earned a spot on the medal stand with an impressive 15th place finish. Addie was followed by junior Jade Stasiak (31:49.18) and sophomore Bailey Allan (31:49.79), who ran a PR. The ladies will race again on Monday at the Dixon Invitational. The Pirates Cross Country program welcomed three more runners to the team. Seniors Chase Christian and Sean Green, along with freshman Parker Christian, joined veteran Vaughn Vasquez at yesterday's Buffalo Invitational. Vaughn (19:52) led the pack followed by Parker (23:13), Sean (24:11), and Chase (26:22). Sean, who ran his freshman year, shaved a few minutes off his best time to run a PR yesterday. All three newcomers enjoyed fall baseball and are excited to keep competing by running in XC. The team will race next at the Dixon Invitational Monday. Great job Pirates! #MCPirates
