The High School Track and Field team eclipsed the competition at today’s meet at School of the Osage! In the Varsity meet, Caleb Phillips brought home a pair of gold medals in the 800 and 1600 meter races. In the JV meet, Preston Stevens earned the first medal of his career grabbing fourth place in the 400 meter dash. Jessica Weyhersmueller earned her first medals as well with a 2nd in the 1600 meter and 4th in the 200 meter. Kevin Bowman just missed a medal, but ran a great 400 to take 5th place. Great racing everyone! The team will be back in action on Wednesday at the PCL Conference meet at Skyline. #MCPirates

Senior Trip Day 5: Our final day was spent at Universal Studios! Students had the flexibility of exploring in small groups and go at their own pace today. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Now, we have an early flight home tomorrow at 5 AM!🎢🦖🦸🏼♂️
Senior Trip Day 4 (Part 2): We regrouped for dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. Many of the seniors hadn't had crab legs before, so this was a new experience! Afterwards, we walked to ICON Park where some of them rode the 400 ft. tall ferris wheel! 🦀🎡
Senior Trip Day 4 (Part 1): The seniors were able to get out of the house today and split up into two groups! One group went on a manatee and dolphin kayaking tour and got in some surfing, and the other group who needed a little more recovery from the sun wanted to do some shopping and explore Orlando/Kissimmee! 🌊🐬🐠🍦
Attention Pirate Family: Macks Creek Elementary students will view the 2024 Solar Eclipse on Mon., April 8th. We have the appropriate glasses for each student. If you do not wish for your child to view the Eclipse, please contact your child's teacher.
If you would like to help us celebrate the Eclipse, please consider sending Eclipse Snacks for your child's class. Sun Chips, Starburst, Moon Pies, Capri Sun's, Eclipse Gum, Milky Way, Star Crunch, Cosmic Brownies, etc are all welcome! We will be dressing for the occasion in all black!

In yesterdays PCL Middle School Track meet at Skyline, the boys placed 2nd and the girls placed 5th.
Weston Martineau got first place in the 100m, 200m, and long jump. Sebastian Sanchez got first place in the 400m and second place in the 100m. Parker Christian got second place in the 200m. Carter Ferrell got first place in the 800m. Michael Egan got second place in shot put. The boys also placed first in the 4 x 100m relays.
Izabella Wiley placed third in the 100m and the 400m. She also placed first in the 200m.

Senior Trip Day 3: We were able to get out for a little bit today and explore Disney Springs before the storm rolled in. Afterwards, we grabbed lunch at Wing Stop, hit a few more stores, and came home to relax and swim in the rain. This evening, we had a blast playing games and making pizzas! 🛍️🌩️🎱🍕
Senior Trip Day 2: The seniors enjoyed an afternoon at Cocoa Beach today! The weather was beautiful today, and the waves were perfect for boogieboarding! Back at the house during a swim at our pool, an alligator came up to say hello outside! ☀️🌊🐊
On some schedules it appears that there is a Baseball game tonight vs Hermitage. That game was moved at the beginning of the season so there is no game tonight. The next game for the Pirates will be next week in Wheatland tournament. #MCPirates

Senior Trip Day 1: Our first afternoon in Orlando was a success! The seniors wasted no time getting in our private pool and hot tub alongside Storey Lake! We had a group dinner at the fun Italian restaurant called Buca di Beppo where everything was served family-style! Now, we're headed to the house for an early evening of relaxing by the pool and playing games before our week starts!
The Senior Class of 2024 is off to Orlando, Florida for their senior trip! Please pray for safe travels! They are going to have a wonderful time, so check back for picture updates! ☀️🌊🪂🎢🐊🛫
The Macks Creek Community Park Board is hosting its 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow! In addition to 3 different age-category egg hunts, the event features an appearance by the Easter Bunny, a silent auction, 50/50 Raffle, prizes, a bounce house, face painting, a coffee truck and free food! Also, come and check out the brand new playground! The event will begin at 10 AM and conclude at 1PM. We can't wait to see you and your family! #MCPirates
High School Track athletes raced at the Buffalo Invitational yesterday. Caleb Phillips took 1st in the 800 and 2nd in the 1600. Jessica Weyhersmueller had personal records (PR) in the 400 and 1600. Preston Stevens had a PR in the 400 and ran well in the 100 and 200. Well done everyone! #MCPirates
