Macks Creek wrestlers traveled to Osage Friday night for a tri-dual with Osage and Fatima. Kamora Merchant went 1 and 1, losing her first dual by pin in the 2nd period to Fatima and winning her 2nd dual against Osage by pin in the first. Calvin Eidson also went 1 and 1, losing his first dual to Fatima and winning his 2nd by pin in the first period. Owyn Charlton went 0 and 2, losing both matches by pin to tough opponents. Macks Creek FFA members had an exciting day in Columbia as they participated in the State Swine Facility Management Contest! 🐖💙
Students had the opportunity to tour and inspect one of the swine facilities at the University of Missouri, gaining hands-on experience and learning what real-world management looks like. They also heard from industry professionals who shared insights about current practices and careers within the swine industry.
Results will be released within the next week — stay tuned!
